Breaking-out
Taken late at night after doing work in the Sackville Street Building. This photo captured the light created from the building but also other sources of light fabricating the shadow created from the statue. Providing an interesting composition of detail and also texture especially from the bricks, something I never took notice of in the early afternoon.
This image was used as the inspiration for a series of textile designs in "Creative Connections" - an exhibition where art meets science - an illustration of how two traditionally separate cultures can find joint inspiration and innovative solutions.
