Darkness and Light
Both this picture and it's companion were made by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). I was studying the formation of beta-sheet fibrils, which are depicted in the 2nd picture, but as usually, some other interesting and unexpected things appear, like the object in this photo. I really liked the combination of the dark shades and lines with some touches of light inside the object. This is like a hope that always dies the last. I like this picture very much!
