Making an Application
For entry onto postgraduate qualifications:
- You will normally be required to have at least a 2.2 UK Honours or international equivalent degree in an appropriate subject, or an approved combination of educational qualifications and industrial experience.
- If English is not your first language, you will need to take and meet minimum requirements for the following recognised English language qualifications: IELTS (6.5 with no sub-test under 5.5); TOEFL (570 with 5.0 in TWE); CBTOEFL (230 with 5.0 in TWE). Please contact us if you have an alternative qualification and we will make an individual assessment.
For entry onto individual units:
- There are no formal pre-requisites to study for an individual unit, but we would advise you to have a relevant level of knowledge and understanding of the subject to ensure that you can cope with the postgraduate-level study. If you wish to progress onto a postgraduate qualification following completion of an individual unit, then you will need to complete a formal application.

Please note that you can apply for an individual unit only (see below) and then later apply to progress onto a postgraduate qualification.
