Nexia Solutions Research Alliances
Nuclear Sciences in academia across the globe have, over the last decade, seen a decline in the numbers of people undertaking research and in the numbers of students undertaking degrees of direct technical relevance to the nuclear industry. Therefore, BNFL (now Nexia Solutions in this capacity) made a decision to invest in a number of core subjects at Universities, based upon real business needs now and into the future.
The Materials Performance Centre is the newest of four alliances. The first three Research Alliances were established in:
