Information for International Universities
Cross-Cultural New Product Development a module that provides your students with the tools employers want. Graduates who can;
- Work with employees from different cultures
- Work with employees from various functional disciplines
- Think creatively themselves
- Work constructively in teams
Your students join with students from Manchester and students from Universities across the world working in cross-cultural and cross-functional teams to develop and test a new product idea based on their collective specialist skills.
Students are assessed by an;
- An individual theoretical assignment focussing on cross-cultural team building, development and motivation
- Group New Product Development project, report and presentation
- Individual reflection on cross-cultural/cross-functional team working in a New Product Development context
Manchester students host overseas students by;
- Arranging cultural events
- Organising trips and events
From a future employment perspective the module provides your students with;
- Evidence of international working experience
- Evidence of an ability to apply theoretical concepts to practical situations
- Evidence of team working
All of which can be included on their Curriculum Vitae.
